The COOLmob Sustainable Living Project, generously funded by the City of Darwin, will reinvigorate Top End householders to save energy, emissions and money in their home.  

This grant is another significant step forward in our commitment to a greener and more eco-conscious future. Through a diverse range of activities, the program aims to inspire residents to embrace sustainable living practices, reduce carbon footprint and save money while enhancing our quality of life.  

The heart of the program lies in its educational and behaviour change components, offering workshops and open days on everything from energy efficiency, renewable energy, passive cooling and overall smarter energy use in our homes. These engaging activities will empower residents with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed choices for a more sustainable lifestyle.  

Beyond education, the Sustainable Living Program is designed to foster a sense of community. Through events, activities and shared projects, it brings neighbours together with a common goal: creating a most sustainable and resilient community.  We are excited to partner with the City of Darwin to revive this well known and loved program.
